Data RAM (DDRAM)

DDRAM stores display data of maximum 96

× 8 bits (96 characters).

DDRAM address is set in the address counter (AC) as a hexadecimal number. (refer to Fig-1.)

♦ 5-dot 1 line display

In the case of 1 line display with 5-dot font, the address range of DDRAM is 00H ~ 5FH. (Refer to Fig-2)
