For example, when the supply voltage is 5 V and the output current is 1 mA, the load resistor must not be more than (5 V – 2.4 V)/{1 mA × (1 + 20%)}, or 2.17 kΩ, to ensure the signal does not exceed 2.6 V. As the supply increases, the output signal also can be increased, by the same amount. |
