7 Product handling & soldering

7.1 Packaging

SARA-R5 series modules are delivered as hermetically sealed, reeled tapes to enable efficient

production, production lot set-up and tear-down. For more information about packaging, see the

u-blox package information user guide [3].

7.1.1

Reels

SARA-R5 series modules are deliverable in quantities of 250 pieces on a reel. The modules are

delivered using reel type B2 described in Figure 6 and in the u-blox package information user guide [3].
