If (1) > (2):

The new EXPOSURE will start immediately.

Because (1) is larger than (2), this EXPOSURE will end after the last frame

would have finished.

This causes a temporary drop in frame rate.

Programmed External vs Triggered Internal

The attentive reader may have noticed that the Triggered Internal mode with a sequence

length of 1 is quite similar to the Programmed External mode. This is mainly true, yet both

differ in the way they handle new REQ_EXP requests if the sensor is not IDLE.
