DESCRIPTION

The 2132 series of unregulated solid state power

supplies is designed for ionizers, table top air

cleaners, laser (startup) circuits, EOS / ESD anti-

static equipment and other equipment requiring

reliable,

compact,

economical,

high

voltage

power supplies.

The 2132 series is available with

either a positive or a negative output.

There are two basic designs: 8 kVDC or 12 kVDC

output. Other output voltages are available. .

OPTIONS

Input ground wire

Control wires

(requires a 2 watt, potentiometer, not supplied)

"Power-On" indicating light

Input to output isolation

Custom voltages and housings are also available.

TYPICAL ELECTRICAL

SPECIFICATIONS

Input Voltage:

120 VAC (± 10%), 50/60 Hz

Output Voltage: 8 or 12 kVDC

Output Current: 1-5 µA typical

Output Regulation:

Unregulated, see Typical V-I Curve

Load:

Operates into any load condition,

capacitive, resistive, inductive, or no load.

Can withstand arcing and short circuits.

Encapsulant:

Filled Epoxy (UL94V-0 Rated)

Mounting:

Cable-ties, glue, epoxy, RTV, or silicon.

If glued, recommend glue be applied to

two surfaces.

Primary Wires:

22 AWG PVC, 600 V, UL Style 1015,

105ºC, 2 wire or 3 wire available

High Voltage Wires:

22 AWG, 15 KVDC, UL Style 3239, 105ºC

Temperature Rating:

Operating 0º to +60ºC

Storage -40º to +85ºC

NOTICE: This power supply should never be

mounted directly to a metal surface.
