Description

The MSEBX855 has three versions of the base board

and in conjunction with the SM855-XXX becomes a

highly integrated, very fast performing computer. For

example, a unit with a SM855-P738 (1.4GHz) in-

stalled is about equivalent to a 2.8GHz Pentium 4

performance level. The MSEBX855 offers interfaces

of USB 2.0, 10/100BASE-T LAN, AC97 Audio, DVI,

and more (see table for options on version desired).

The memory used is DDR-SODIMM and can go from

128MB to 1024MB. The integrated video controller

can

control

two

independent

displays.

The three standard configurations of the MSEBX

consist of a B for Basic, M for Multimedia and S for

Server. All versions can be powered by using

10V-30VDC and boot from many different media

sources. The board can come with a Compact Flash

card holder (version B or as an option), multiple COM

ports (version B), MPEG2 hardware encoding

(version M), 1GB LAN and Serial ATA interfaces with

RAID 1 capability (version S), etc. Please see the
