Test points are provided near the edges of the circuit board. Socket Plug Mfgr Device Package Device Package Many 44 pin PLCC 44 pin PLCC Adapter Dimensions PA44-PP PA44-PZP Adapter Construction The adapter is made up of 2 sub-assemblies. They assemble via connectors making the adapter modular. This way the sub- assemblies can be replaced when they wear out. When disassembling the adapter take care not to bend the pins. When reassembling the adapter note the pin 1 indicators to align the parts correctly. The adapters described by this datasheet and their sub- assemblies are: Adapter Test Socket Board PA44-PP 44-306 44-PP PA44-PZP 44-400 44-PZP Test Sockets LSC # Style Mfgr/Pn 44-306 Auto-Eject Yamaichi IC120-0444-306 44-400 Lidded ZIF Yamaichi IC51-0444-400 Test Points These adapters offer Test Points. The Test Points are rows of plate-thru-holes (PTH) along the 4 edges of the adapter. Grabbers may be used to hook onto the holes. Alternately, 0.050” pitch 11 pin strips can be soldered into the holes and connections made to the strip’s pins. A right angle strip should be considered for easier access to the pins. Adapter Wiring This adapter is wired 1 to 1. Pin 1 of the socket is connected to pin 1 of the plug. Pin 2 to pin 2 and so on around the adapter.
