20 / 60 page  USB 2.0 Hi-Speed 2-Port Hub Controller Datasheet Revision 1.0 (06-17-13) 20 SMSC USB2532 DATASHEET Chapter 4 Power Connections 4.1 Integrated Power Regulators The integrated 3.3V and 1.2V power regulators allow the device to be supplied via a single 3.3V external power supply. The regulators are controlled by RESET_N. When RESET_N is brought high, the 3.3V regulator will turn on. When RESET_N is brought low the 3.3V regulator will turn off. 4.2 Power Connection Diagrams Figure 4.1 illustrates the power connections for the USB2532.
