Reserved. Read only, returns 0 when read.

Serial number string length. The string length in bytes for the serial

number string. The default value is 0, indicating that a serial number

string is not supported. The maximum string length is 32 bytes. This field

may be over-written by the contents of an attached EEPROM or by an

SMBus host. When the field is non-zero, a serial number string of

serNumbStringLen bytes is returned at string index 1 from the data

contained in the Serial Number String registers.
