Required for a hub with no power switches 5.3.18 REGISTER 11H: LANGUAGE ID HIGH - LANGIDH Default = 0x04h - Corresponds to US English code 0x0409h 5.3.19 REGISTER 12H: LANGUAGE ID LOW - LANGIDL Default = 0x09h - Corresponds to US English code 0x0409h 5.3.20 REGISTER 13H: MANUFACTURER STRING LENGTH - MFRSL Default = 0x00h Bit Number Bit Name Description 7:0 HC_MAX_C_SP Hub Controller Max Current Self-Powered: Value in 1mA increments that the Hub consumes from an upstream port when operating as a self- powered hub. This value includes the hub silicon along with the combined power consumption (from VBUS) of all associated circuitry on the board. This value does NOT include the power consumption of a permanently attached peripheral if the hub is configured as a compound device. Example: A value of 8mA would be written to this register as 0x08h Note: The USB 2.0 Specification does not permit this value to exceed 100mA Bit Number Bit Name Description 7:0 HC_MAX_C_BP Hub Controller Max Current Bus-Powered: Value in 1mA increments that the Hub consumes from an upstream port when operating as a bus- powered hub. Example: A value of 8mA would be written to this register as 0x08h Bit Number Bit Name Description 7:0 POWER_ON_TI ME Power On Time: The length of time that is takes (in 2 ms intervals) from the time the host initiated power-on sequence begins on a port until power is good on that port. System software uses this value to determine how long to wait before accessing a powered-on port. Setting affects only the hub descriptor field “PwrOn2PwrGood” see Section 7.4, "Class-Specific Hub Descriptor," on page 45. Note: This register represents time from when a host sends a SetPortFeature(PORT_POWER) request to the time power is supplied through an external switch to a downstream port. It should be set to 0 if no power switch is used- for instance within a compound device.
