24 / 82 page  23 AT25SL321 DS-25SL321–112H–2020-10 8.7 Write Status Register-2 (31h) The Write Status Register-2 instruction is to write only non-volatile Status Register-2 bits (CMP, QE, and SRP1). A Write Enable instruction must have previously been issued prior to setting Write Status Register Instruction (Status Register bit WEL = 1). Once the write enable occurs, the Write Status Register 2 instruction is entered by driving CS low, sending the instruction code (31h), and then writing the Status Register 2 data byte as illustrated in Figure 8-8 and Figure 8-9. Using t h e Write Status Register-2 (31h) instruction, software can individually access each one-byte status registers via different instructions. Figure 8-8.
