7.15 MODE Input EN
The AS8515
Top die is switched from normal mode to the standby mode with a falling edge on EN and keeping Tx high for TSTNDY_trigger time.
Device is switched from standby mode to normal mode with a rising edge at the EN pin. The mode change for
Top die with a falling edge on EN
can be done independently from the state of the transceiver bus. This ensures the direct control of device to enter into standby mode by
microcontroller using EN pin.

The EN input has an internal active pull down to secure that if this pin is not connected, a low level will be generated.

If the application doesn’t need the low-power modes of the device, a direct connection of EN to VCC is possible. In this case the

operates in permanent normal mode. Also possible is the external (outside of the module) control of the EN line via VSUP signal as shown
below.
