ANALOGUE INPUT SIGNAL PATH
The WM8948 has six analogue input pins, which may be selected in many different configurations.
The analogue input paths can support line and microphone inputs, in single-ended or pseudo-
differential modes. Two of the input pins (AUX1 and AUX2) may be configured either as audio inputs
or may be used as inputs to the Auxiliary ADC for analogue measurement or monitoring.
The Left and Right input PGA audio channels are routed to the Analogue to Digital converters
(ADCs). There is also a bypass path for each channel, enabling the signal to be routed directly to the
output mixers.
The WM8948 input signal paths and control registers are illustrated in Figure 10.
